To quote a first-year law student on their first day in bankruptcy class, “It is just filling out several forms.” On the last day of class, the same student was asked the same question, but their answer was dramatically different: “I did not realize how much I needed to know about every area of law when filling out bankruptcy forms. The bankruptcy process is complicated; the wrong choice can cause someone to lose their home, vehicle, or life savings.”
